SNS har sedan 1948 årligen samlat ledare för Sveriges största företag, myndigheter och organisationer samt forskare och politiker till en heldagskonferens i Tylösand. Konferensen vänder sig till högsta ledningen i SNS medlemsorganisationer samt särskilt inbjudna. Under SNS Tylösandskonferens får deltagarna ta del av världsledande expertis i frågor som präglar samhällsutvecklingen och utbyta tankar under informella former.

Sven Biscop is Professor of Political Science at the University of Ghent lecturing on strategy and European foreign and defence policy. Furthermore, he is the Director of the Europe in the World program at the Egmont Royal Institute for International Relations in Brussels. His most recent book This Is Not a New World Order – Europe Rediscovers Geopolitics, from Ukraine to Taiwan, was published in 2024.
Sven Biscop holds fellowships at the United Nations University in Bruges, the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy, the Baltic Defence College, and the People’s University of China in Beijing. He is an Honorary Fellow of the European Security and Defence College, lecturing for EU diplomats, military and officials.
Sven Biscop has been awarded the Commander of the Order of the Crown of the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Decoration of Honour of the Republic of Austria.
Lena Gillström is the CEO of BAE Systems Bofors, a renowned defense company based in Karlskoga, Sweden. Lena has had the role as CEO since 2013. She is also a member of the executive leadership team of BAE Systems Inc. in the United States. In addition, Lena Gillström serves as Chair of the Swedish Security and Defence Industry Association (SOFF) and represents the industry in the Swedish government’s Defense Innovation Initiative.
Evelina Hedskog is the President and CEO of W5 Solutions, a global provider of high-tech solutions for defense and civil security. She has held various business- and management positions at Saab and Mildef Group. Evelina Hedskog is a fellow of the Royal Swedish Society of Naval Sciences and serves as a board member of the Swedish Security and Defence Industry Association (SOFF) as well as Bliksund A/S. She also holds the rank of Lieutenant Commander as a reserve officer in the Swedish Navy.
Oscar Jonsson is Associate Senior Lecturer in Russian military strategy and modern warfare at the Swedish Defence University and a Senior Associate Fellow at the NATO Defence College. He is also the founder and Director of Phronesis Analysis.
He has authored several books; the latest Försvaret av Sverige (in English: The Defense of Sweden), was awarded the Stora Fackbokspriset in 2024. His research focuses on contemporary warfare, covering areas such as cyber warfare, (dis)information, political subversion, strategy, geopolitical risk, and international law.
Oscar Jonsson holds a PhD from the Department of War Studies at King’s College London.
Mikael Karlsson is the founder and CEO of MW Group, a Nordic industrial group specializing in defence and critical infrastructure services. He is co-founder and serves on the board of Neptunia Invest. He also serves as a member of the board of Ingrid Capacity and the Swedish Security and Defence Industry Association (SOFF). Mikael Karlsson is active in the Coastal Rangers in the Swedish Armed Forces.
Sauli Niinistö is the former President of Finland, having served two full terms between 2012 and 2024. Last year, Sauli Niinistö, in his capacity as Special Adviser to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, was tasked with developing recommendations on how to enhance the EU’s civilian and military preparedness and readiness for future crises, resulting in the report Safer Together Strengthening Europe’s Civilian and Military Preparedness and Readiness.
Noam Perski is the Executive Vice President of Special Operations/Situations at Palantir Technologies, an American software company that provides advanced data integration, analytics, and artificial intelligence solutions widely used in defense, intelligence and national security. Since joining Palantir in 2012, Noam Perski has held key leadership roles expanding Palantir’s presence in key markets, and helping governments leverage advanced technology for strategic decision-making.
Karl Rosander is the co-founder and CEO of Nordic Air Defence, a company specializing in drone defence technology. He is a serial entrepreneur, he has co-founded several successful ventures, including Acast and Sesamy, where he currently serves as Chair of the Board. Karl Rosander has been recognized with multiple awards for his contributions to entrepreneurship and technology.
Constanze Stelzenmüller is an expert on German, European, and trans-Atlantic foreign and security policy and strategy. She is the Director of the Center on the United States and Europe and the first holder of the Fritz Stern Chair on Germany and trans-Atlantic Relations at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC.
Previously, she held the Kissinger Chair on Foreign Policy and International Relations at the Library of Congress (2019–2020) and the inaugural Robert Bosch Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution (2014–2019).
Prior to joining Brookings, Constanze Stelzenmüller directed the Berlin office of the German Marshall Fund of the United States, where she was also a Senior Transatlantic Fellow. She writes commentary on global affairs for the Financial Times and is a frequent commentator on US and European news outlets.
Anna Wieslander is the Director for Northern Europe at the Atlantic Council and heads its Stockholm office. She is Chair of the Institute for Security and Development Policy (ISDP), a Stockholm-based think tank with a focus on Asia. Additionally, she serves as Secretary General of the Swedish Defence Association, a non-political NGO promoting knowledge on defence and security among the Swedish public.
Anna Wieslander is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of War Sciences and an Adjunct Professor at George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. She holds a PhD in Political Science from Lund University.
Katarina Tracz is a security and defense analyst and strategic communications adviser. Tracz is the founder and CEO of the consultancy firm Solomós Communications, focusing on strategic communications mainly within the defense sector. Previously, she has held positions as, amongst others, Director of Stockholm Free World Forum (Frivärld), Marshall Memorial Fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States and International Research fellow at the McCain Institute for International Leadership.
